Yemeni tweet campaign slams Saudi siege, starvation tactics since 2015 war

SANAA, Feb. 16 (YPA) – A Yemeni tweet campaign will be swept on “X” and social media  sites under the hashtag #Saudi_Starves_Yemenis through the tweet bank, starting at 9:00 pm, on Monday evening.

Organizers denounce Saudi Arabia as a siege and starvation tool since its 2015 war, a grassroots pushback against systematic blockade after airstrikes killed thousands of children and women.

It exposes Saudi looting of Yemeni resources, oil revenue deposits in the National Bank, and hunger weaponized post-2017 Central Bank shift to Aden with UN support, stripping millions of salaries and national wealth.

The campaign spotlights deaths behind sealed borders, including Sanaa Airport’s shutdown for patients, dooming hundreds denied overseas care.
