Army shoots down coalition reconnaissance plane in Jawf

JAWF, Aug. 4 (YPA) – The air defenses of the Yemeni army on Saturday shot down a reconnaissance plane belonging to the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen’s Jawf province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The plane was down with an appropriate weapon at Maslub district, the official confirmed.

In the same context, the official said that the Yemeni army repelled an infiltration attempt of the Saudi-backed militias towards al-Maslub district, killing and injured dozens of them.

Meanwhile, the artillery forces shelled several positions and reinforcements of the militias in the same district, causing massive casualties in the lives and military gear.
