Sayyed Al-Houthi warns of region’s most dangerous hegemony project, reveals U.S. plan for upcoming escalation

SANAA, Feb. 13 (YPA) – Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi has warned against ignoring the threats facing the nation or distancing oneself from major responsibilities and situational awareness, noting that such negligence poses a grave danger and enables enemies to gain control.

In a televised speech delivered this Friday regarding preparations for the holy month of Ramadan, Sayyed al-Houthi addressed regional developments. He emphasized that events in Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria are not isolated incidents but part of what he described as an attempt to impose “the equation of violation” (Mu’adalat al-Istibahah) on the nation—aiming to normalize and solidify aggression as an accepted reality.

Escalation in Gaza and the West Bank

He asserted that the Israeli enemy continues its violations and killings in the Gaza Strip, tightening the siege on residents alongside ongoing American military support. He noted that the scale of current arming reflects preparations for an upcoming round of escalation.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi pointed out that the level of Zionist criminality in Gaza has shocked the world and is enough to awaken anyone with human sentiments. He explained that the Israeli enemy is mobilizing “traitors and agents” to commit clear crimes in Gaza, which he characterized as “a dangerous phenomenon.”

Furthermore, he highlighted the expansion of settlement activities in the West Bank, where the Israeli enemy has unleashed its gangs and expanded its operations in an effort to end the Palestinian presence and renounce previous agreements, referring to the Oslo Accords and subsequent treaties. He also mentioned that the Israeli enemy continues to torture Palestinian prisoners following the passage of the “execution law.”

Lebanon and Syria

Regarding Lebanon, Sayyed al-Houthi explained that pressures to disarm Hezbollah coincide with continued Israeli aggression. He argued that this reveals a double standard in how the “Resistance” weapons are treated compared to the arming of Zionist settlers. He noted that Israeli attacks in Lebanon have reached the point of spraying farms with toxic pesticides with “utter insolence,” questioning: “What do farms have to do with Hezbollah’s weapons?”

On Syria, he stated that Israeli violations continue despite the stances of the controlling groups there—referring to the al-Shara’ regime—which he noted does not pose a threat to the occupier.

Iran and the “Equation of Violation”

As for Iran, Sayyed Abdul-Malik opined that the Israeli-American focus on the country is due to it being an “obstacle” to hegemony projects in the region. He praised Iran’s stance, describing it as “strong and steadfast,” and noted the importance of the Iranian people’s public mobilization.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi concluded his speech by emphasizing that accepting the “equation of violation” represents an existential threat. He called for vigilance and preparedness, suggesting that the coming period may witness significant developments given the continuous flow of American weapons to “Israel” in preparation for a new round of conflict.
