EU condemns Israeli violations in Gaza

BRUSSELS, Feb. 02 (YPA) – The European Union condemned Israel’s repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, calling for respect for international humanitarian law.

This came in a post published yesterday evening by the EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management, Haja Habib, on X.

Habib said: “We condemn the repeated violations of the ceasefire in Gaza. Hundreds of Palestinians were killed and wounded as a result of Israeli attacks over the weekend.”

The European Commissioner stressed the need to respect international humanitarian law and protect civilians everywhere and at all times.
