Tens of thousands rally in London condemning Israeli violations in Gaza

LONDON, Jan. 31 (YPA) – Tens of thousands of demonstrators took to the streets of London on Saturday in a massive march expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people and condemning ongoing Israeli violations in the Gaza Strip.

Holding banners reading “Stop the genocidal war,” participants demanded an end to Israel’s aggression, called for the release of Palestinian prisoners.

They urged non-interference in the affairs of the Gaza Strip, aligning with a wider global campaign for their freedom.

Protesters clarified that the continued assault on Gaza threatens basic human values and called on the British government to reconsider its policies, warning against any involvement in arrangements that could reinforce control over the Strip.

Although the march remained peaceful, organizers voiced concern over potential disruptions after the British police permitted a right-wing party with anti-Palestinian views to march along the same route, raising fears of clashes.
