Abu Ubaida: Al-Qassam Brigades fulfilled all that was required of them in terms of ceasefire agreement

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Jan. 25 (YPA) – Abu Ubaida, the spokesperson for Ezz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, confirmed that the Brigades dealt with the issue of prisoners and the bodies of the dead with complete transparency and fulfilled all that was required of them according to the terms of the ceasefire agreement, noting that all prisoners in their possession, both living and dead, were handed over as quickly as possible and without any delay.

In a new statement, Abu Ubaida explained that this commitment came despite the occupation’s failure to abide by the terms of the agreement and its perpetration of dozens of violations and massacres during the past period.

He emphasized the keenness of al-Qassam Brigades to close this file completely and without procrastination, in consideration of the interests of the Palestinian people.

He pointed out that the Brigades worked under complex and almost impossible circumstances to extract and hand over all the bodies of the Israeli enemy prisoners, with the knowledge of the mediators, calling on them to bear their responsibilities and compel the occupation to implement what was agreed upon.

Regarding the body of Israeli soldier Ran Gweli, Abu Ubaida confirmed that Al-Qassam Brigades had provided the mediators with all the details and information they possessed about the body’s location, noting that the occupation’s current search of a site based on that information is proof of the accuracy of what the Brigades provided to the mediators.
