Sanaa reveals “technical hurdles” delaying Muscat prisoner exchange agreement

SANAA, Jan. 23 (YPA) – Abdulqader Al-Mortada, head of the Sanaa-based Prisoner Affairs Committee, expressed regret over the delay in implementing the Muscat agreement, which was originally scheduled to commence on January 27.

In his account on “X”, Al-Mortada explained that the delay is due to the finalization of prisoner lists still being pending, noting that the process requires additional time for completion.

He called on all parties to act with credibility and urged them to avoid placing obstacles that could hinder the progress of this humanitarian issue.
