Al-Alimi appoints Shaya Mohsin Zindani as new prime minister of pro-coalition government

RIYADH, Jan. 16 (YPA) – The Chairman of Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Rashad al-Alimi, who is loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, issued a decision appointing Shaea Mohsen al-Zindani as the new Prime Minister and tasking him with forming a new government.

This comes after Salem bin Buriek submitted his resignation.

In a separate decree, the Council head appointed the outgoing premier as his advisor on financial and economic affairs.
