Zionist forces launch wide-scale raids, arrests in Shu’fat camp, across West Bank

WEST BANK, Jan. 13 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces carried out a wide-scale raid and arrest campaign on Tuesday in the Shu’fat refugee camp, north of occupied city of Al-Quds (Jerusalem), in conjunction with incursions into several areas across the West Bank and Jerusalem.

Palestinian sources reported the occupation forces raided homes in Shu’fat camp and detained a number of residents, while a similar incursion was carried out in the town of Kafr ‘Aqab, north of al-Quds.

The sources added that a young man was arrested after occupation forces stormed and searched his family’s home in Shu’fat camp.

The occupation forces also raided a home in the town of Al-Khader, southwest of Bethlehem in the southern occupied West Bank, and carried out incursions into the town of Dura, southwest of Hebron, using several military vehicles.

Additionally, occupation forces raided the town of Ya’bad, southwest of Jenin, where they stormed and searched residents’ homes in the Al-Ras and Al-Maloul neighbourhoods.
