Death toll of Zionist aggression on Gaza reaches to 71,395 martyrs, 171,287 injuries

GAZA, Jan. 08 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip confirmed, on Thursday, that the cumulative death toll from the Israeli genocide in the Strip has risen to 71,395 martyrs and 171,287 injuries since the start of the Zionist aggression on October 7, 2023.

In its statistical report, the Gaza Health Ministry announced that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received four martyrs, including one new martyr and three recovered bodies, and seven injuries during the past 48 hours.

It revealed that the death toll since the ceasefire on October 11 has reached 425 martyrs and 1,206 injuries, in addition to the recovery of the bodies of 688 martyrs.

Many victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them at this moment, the ministry added.
