Al-Bukhaiti: Implementation of “roadmap” with Saudi Arabia is Imminent; uncertain fate awaits pro-coalition leaders

SANAA, Jan. 05 (YPA) – Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, a member of the Ansarallah Political Bureau, revealed on Monday that the implementation of the anticipated roadmap with Saudi Arabia is now “imminent.”

In a statement via “X,” Al-Bukhaiti confirmed that the execution of the agreement’s terms could begin as early as “today or tomorrow,” though he refrained from disclosing specific details of the pending deal.

In a significant escalation regarding the fate of Saudi-led coalition-aligned factions, Al-Bukhaiti asserted that these leaders now face only two outcomes: being detained in Saudi prisons or being handed over to the Sanaa government.

He explained that they would either face the Yemeni judiciary for crimes against the people and the nation’s destruction or be imprisoned by Riyadh for “draining Saudi resources” and damaging its international reputation during what he described as an “absurd war.”

These developments coincide with heightening military tensions in Yemen’s southern and eastern provinces.

Recent reports indicate that UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) factions have been forced to withdraw from Hadramout and Mahra provinces following Saudi airstrikes, marking a sharp shift in the ground reality as Sanaa expresses growing confidence in the final terms of its negotiations with Riyadh.
