KHAN YUNIS, Jan. 04 (YPA) – Two Palestinians were killed and another was injured on Sunday morning by Israeli occupation forces’ fire in Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Palestinian sources reported that the fisherman Abdel Rahman Abdel Hadi al-Qan was killed, and another was wounded, when Israeli naval forces opened fire in the waters off the coast of Khan Yunis.
The same sources added that Fadi Najib Salah was also killed earlier today by occupation forces’ gunfire in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis.
With the martyrdom of these two citizens, the total death toll since the ceasefire began on October 11 has risen to 421, while the total number of wounded has exceeded 1,171.
