Britain, France launch air strikes on Syria

DAMASCUS, Jan. 04 (YPA) – Britain announced, on Sunday, carrying out airstrikes inside Syrian territory in conjunction with France.

The British Ministry of Defence announced on its website and its official X platform account, that it carried out the raids in Syria using RAF Typhoon aircraft and with the participation of French aircraft with Paveway IV precision-guided bombs to strike the entrances of the targeted facility.

According to the British-French narrative, the raids targeted what was said to be a site linked to ISIS, in an attempt to market the aggression as a preemptive measure aimed at preventing the organization’s resurgence.
