SAADA, Dec. 31 (YPA) – Saudi forces renewed shelling on residential areas in border districts in Yemen’s Saada governorate, using artillery and machine-gun fire, local sources reported on Tuesday.
According to the sources, the Saudi bombardment targeted populated villages in the Al-Thabet area of Qataber border district, sparking panic among residents, particularly women and children.
It is worth noting that this attack is part of a series of repeated attacks carried out by Saudi forces on border areas since the start of the Saudi-led coalition-led war on Yemen in 2015. These attacks have claimed the lives of dozens of civilians amid the continued delay in implementing the peace understandings between Sanaa and Riyadh.
