Young Palestinian woman killed as wall collapses onto tent in Gaza

GAZA, Dec. 28 (YPA) – A young Palestinian woman was killed on Sunday when the wall of a war-damaged home collapsed onto a tent near Gaza City’s port, Palestinian sources reported,  citing local residents r.

The disaster highlights the ongoing plight of displaced Gaza residents living in fragile tents. Despite repeated early warnings, the region’s weak infrastructure led to the flooding and destruction of tents due to strong winds.

The area is currently affected by a third winter storm since the start of the season, with heavy rain expected to continue through Monday, according to meteorological forecasts.
