Israeli occupation forces continue violations of Gaza ceasefire

GAZA, Dec. 22 (YPA) -The Israeli occupation army continues its violations of the ceasefire agreement on its 73rd day, across various areas of the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian sources reported that Israeli helicopters opened heavy fire on areas east and south of Khan Younis city, while military vehicles positioned to the east fired continuously.

In Rafah, the sources stated that the Israeli air force carried out three airstrikes on the city. They added that Israeli helicopters also fired on areas of Rafah.

Israeli warplanes were reported flying over southern Gaza, and Israeli aircraft opened fire east of al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Since the ceasefire agreement, the Israeli occupation army has killed 404 Palestinians and injured hundreds more. It continues to violate the ceasefire in Gaza, which has been in effect since October 10.
