Report: Army carries out offensive operations on Saudi troops over Wednesday

SANAA, Aug. 2 (YPA) – The Yemen army has launched military operations, including artillery, missiles and snipping attacks against US-backed Saudi-led coalition soldiers and their militiamen over 24 hours, according to military reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Thursday.

• In Yemen’s western coast:
A short-range ballistic missile was fired toward gatherings of Saudi-backed militiamen.
Air force launched drone’s strikes on gatherings of militiamen in Duraihimi district.
Three military vehicles, loaded with militiamen, were destroyed by guided missiles in Faza front, killing all who were on board.
• In Najran border province:
Gatherings of militiamen were shelled by artillery in Boqea desert and in front of Khadhra border crossing.
Katuysha rockets were fired at gatherings of Saudi soldiers and their military vehicles in Balilan camp.
The army destroyed a military vehicle with an explosive device in Ajasher desert, killing all its crew.
Artillery shells targeted gatherings of militiamen and vehicles in Ajasher desert.
• In border province of Jizan:
Gatherings of Saudi soldiers and their vehicles were shelled by katyusha rockets in east of Jahfan site.
Two of militiamen were shot dead in east of Dood mount.
The army targeted gatherings and fortifications of militiamen by artillery shells in front of Dokhan site.
Three Saudi soldiers were sniped in Ragabt-Ragaa of Khobah.
Artillery force of the army shelled gatherings of Saudi soldiers beyond Ojabah site, causing direct casualties.

• In Asir border province:
Artillery and missile shells were fired toward gatherings of militiamen in front of Alb border crossing.
• In Marib province:
Artillery shelling targeted sites and gatherings of militiamen in Salb mount.
• In Nehm district:
Artillery force of the army targeted gatherings of militiamen in Harib-Nehm.

• In Bayda province:
Eight of militiamen, including a leader, were killed and others injured in artillery shells fired at their gatherings in Qania front.
• In Jawf province:
The army repelled an infiltration of militiamen in Maslup, killing and wounding dozens, including leaders.
