SANAA, Dec. 19 (YPA) – Major marches were held on Friday in the Yemeni capital Sanaa and dozens of Yemeni squares condemning the American crime of desecrating the Holy Quran.
In a massive march in Al-Sabeen Square in the capital, he mufti of the Yemeni Diyar, Shams al-Din Sharaf al-Din, praised the large mass crowds in the capital Sanaa and more than 40 squares in various provinces.
The Mufti stressed, in a march statement, that the systematic abuse campaigns of the Holy Quran are part of the “comprehensive Zionist war” against the Islamic nation, blaming the United States, Britain and the Zionist entity for full responsibility.
The statement called for a boycott of American and Israeli goods, adding that the steadfastness of the Yemeni position to continue in support of Gaza.
During the march, the participants also condemned the Egyptian gas deal with the Zionist entity, demanding its cancellation in recognition of Egypt’s militant history.
