Israeli occupation forces arrest five Palestinians, including child, in West Bank raids

WEST BANK, Dec. 18 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces arrested five Palestinian civilians, including a child, at dawn on Thursday during overnight raids across several areas of the occupied West Bank.

According to Palestinian sources, the occupation forces raided the town of Madama, south of Nablus, where they arrested a child after searching his family’s home and vandalizing its contents.

Occupation forces also stormed Ein al-Beida (Ein al-Ain) refugee camp west of Nablus, raided a house, assaulted a young man, and then arrested another. They broke into Nablus city with several military vehicles via the Deir Sharaf military checkpoint.

Palestinian sources reported that Israeli occupation forces arrested two young Palestinian men during a raid on the town of Hajja, east of Qalqilya.

The sources added that occupation forces raided the Dhanaba suburb east of Tulkarm and arrested a resident after storming and searching his home.

Israeli occupation forces also raided Qalqilya city and the al-Naqar neighborhood, carrying out a campaign of home raids and searches, during which several residents were subjected to on-site interrogation.

The raids extended to the city of al-Bireh, as well as the town of Husan west of Bethlehem and the town of Halhul north of Hebron.

Additionally, occupation forces raided the home of a martyr’s family in the town of Dura, southwest of Hebron, vandalized its contents, and harassed family members.
