SHABWA, Dec. 15 (YPA) – A fire broke out on Sunday evening in the vicinity of Ataq Airport in Yemen’s southern province of Shabwa.
Media outlets affiliated with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) reported that a fuel tanker belonging to the UAE-Funded Al-Amaliqa Brigades had caught fire near a fuel facility at Ataq Airport, prompting a state of emergency at the site amid fears the flames could spread.
So far, authorities have not released information on casualties, damage, or the cause of the incident.
