Israeli occupation forces launch wide arrest campaign across West Bank

WEST BANK, Dec. 07 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces launched a wide campaign of raids and arrests across various parts of the West Bank early this morning (Sunday), targeting numerous homes, searching them, and reportedly mistreating the residents.

Palestinian sources reported that occupation forces raided the Eastern Quarter of Jenin city, arresting two Palestinian brothers and the father of a wanted Palestinian from his home.

The occupation forces carried out widespread raids and incursions into homes, which were reportedly accompanied by mistreatment of Palestinian citizens and the destruction of household contents.

In Ramallah, occupation forces arrested a young man following a raid on his home in the village of Kafr Ein, north of the city, and a released prisoner following a raid on his home in the village of Mazra’a al-Gharbiya, northwest of the city.

Meanwhile, they fired live ammunition and sound bombs during their incursion into the town of Al Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah.

The occupation army seized a vehicle and arrested two young men early this morning during an incursion into the town of Jayyus, north of Qalqilya.

Moreover, the occupation forces carried out a campaign of raids on citizens’ homes during an incursion into the Al-Arouj area in the town of Jannatah, east of Bethlehem.

Additionally, the occupation forces raided the cities of Tulkarem and Nablus and deployed military patrols in their streets.
