Al-Bukhaiti comments on Jabari’s call for trial of Al-Alimi, his council’s members

SANAA, Dec. 05 (YPA) – Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, a member of Ansarullah Political Bureau commented on the recent statements by Yemeni Parliament Member Abdulaziz Jabari loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, who had called for the trial of Rashad Al-Alimi and members of the so-called “Presidential Leadership Council” on charges of high treason and dividing Yemen, following the conflict in Hadramout and Mahra provinces.

“What is happening in the southern governorates does not solidify secession so much as it solidifies the reality of occupation, similar to what is taking place on the West Coast,” Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti wrote on X.

He further affirmed that Jabari’s call to prosecute Al-Alimi for dividing Yemen is merely an attempt to reduce the issue of occupation to a matter of internal conflict, aiming to distract the people from their core cause, which is fighting for liberation.
