Hamas accuses Israeli occupation of escalating incursions in West Bank

GAZA, Nov. 29 (YPA) – Hamas movement accused on Saturday the Israeli occupation army of escalating its military operations in the West Bank by raids, arrests and evictions of houses, and allowing settlers to commit attacks against residents.

In a statement, the movement considered these violations war crimes that require urgent international intervention to stop them.

The statement said that the measures carried out by the Israeli occupation in the cities and towns of the West Bank, including the incident in the town of Yamoun in the north of the West Bank, forcing families to evacuate their homes, are a “dangerous escalation” that aims at annexation, Judaization and displacement.

It called on Palestinians in the West Bank, with their various forces and factions, to more steadfastness and unity to confront what it called “fascist separatism” and occupation policies that target the Palestinian presence on its land.

The movement’s statement also called on the international community, Arab and Islamic countries, to take action to oblige “Israel” to stop the ongoing violations, including settler attacks, the policy of land confiscation, and what it considered a “clear violation” of international law and the rights of the Palestinian people.
