GPC assigns first deputy ‘Yahya Al-Ra’i’ to act as secretary-general

SANAA, Nov. 29 (YPA) – The leadership of the General People’s Congress (GPC) party in Sanaa on Saturday assigned the party’s First Deputy, Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i, to assume the duties of the Secretary-General of the party for the coming period.

The decision was made during a meeting held by the party’s Highter Leadership, chaired by the party leader Sadiq Amin Abu Ras, during which several issues were discussed and appropriate decisions were taken, according to the “Al-Moatamar Net” website.

It is worth noting that Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i also holds the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives.
