Iran demands full compensation, sends message to Security Council over Israeli “aggression” aided by US

TEHRAN, Nov. 27 (YPA) – Iran, on Thursday, sent a message to the UN Secretary-General and the President of the Security Council, asserting that the Israeli attack on its sovereignty was carried out “in coordination with the United States,” noting America’s acknowledgment of its “pivotal and operational role” in the action.

Iran’s Permanent Ambassador and Representative to the UN, Amir Saeid Iravani, confirmed that this act constitutes a “clear and blatant breach of Article 2 (4) of the United Nations Charter.”

The message demanded full compensation for all resulting material and moral losses and damages from the “act of aggression,” emphasizing that the U.S. is obligated to work towards this according to international law.

The message also indicated that such admissions entail individual criminal responsibility for U.S. officials and persons who participated in the “flagrant violation of international humanitarian law” and the commission of the “crime of aggression.”
