SANAA, Nov. 27 (YPA) – Member of the Ansarallah Political Bureau, Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, revealed serious dimensions in the escalation of the “Saudi-Emirati” conflict in the provinces of Southern and eastern Yemen.
Al-Bukhaiti explained in a post on the Telegram platform that the battle that began over sovereignty may turn today into an open war on society itself.
“What is happening in Hadramout is not a passing competition for influence, but systematic steps to extend the conflict to the directorates, isolation and villages, reaching every Yemeni home, in an attempt to impose a new reality that tears the social fabric and rules control over the joints of the daily life of the population,” he clarified.
He pointed out that the most exciting scene in the current crisis was the complete absence of what he described as the “legitimacy of hotels” led by Rashad al-Alimi, adding that legitimacy promoted internationally as “qualified to rule Yemen from Sanaa,” while today it is unable even to control a single street in the coalition-held provinces.
According to Al-Bukhaiti’s post, this deficit reveals the reality of the role assigned to this legitimacy, which is the administration of Yemen from outside its borders, not from inside.
Al-Bukhaiti stressed that any bet on a political agreement with the “hotels government”, which has no actual authority and no decision, was nothing but an illusion being promoted by the coalition countries to gain time and distract the people’s attention from the real solution of fighting the liberation battle to restore the sovereignty and independence of Yemen to build a stable political process.
