TUBAS, Nov. 27 (YPA) – The occupation forces continue their aggression on Tubas Governorate in the West Bank for the second consecutive day, imposing a curfew and deploying heavily across most areas of the governorate.
Palestinian Media sources reported that the occupation forces are still raiding numerous homes throughout Tubas, detaining many Palestinian citizens and transferring them to field interrogation centers. The number of detainees has so far exceeded 100, half of them from the town of Tammun.
The sources added that 27 detainees were released late at night, although several of them remained handcuffed until they reached their homes.
They also confirmed that the occupation forces assaulted and mistreated many citizens during the raids, in addition to vandalizing the contents of the homes.
Meanwhile, Red Crescent sources reported that its teams have treated 16 injuries since the beginning of the assault, caused by soldiers beating citizens, including an elderly man aged 85. Five of the injured were transported to the hospital, while the remaining cases were treated on-site.
