Gaza death toll mounts up 69,785 as Israeli genocidal war goes on

GAZA, Nov. 26 (YPA) – The death toll in Gaza has mounted to 69,785, with 165,697 others injured, since Israeli occupation launched its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip in October 2023, the Gaza-based Health Ministry said on Wednesday.

In its daily update, the ministry affirmed the Gaza hospitals got 10 martyrs in the past 24 hours alone. It warned the figures remain incomplete, as many victims are still trapped under rubble or on roads that rescue teams cannot reach.

It stressed that at least 347 citizens have been killed and 889 others wounded since the announcement of the ceasefire on October 11, 2025, in addition to the recovery of the bodies of 596 martyrs due to violations of the occupation.

Earlier in the day, the ministry declared that the Strip hospitals received 15 bodies of martyrs released by the Israeli occupation forces through the ICRC, bringing the total number of bodies of martyrs received to 345.

It clarified that 99 martyrs have been identified so far out of 345 of the released bodies that the occupation released, pointing out that its medical teams continue to deal with the bodies in accordance with the approved medical procedures and protocols, in preparation for completing the inspection, documentation and delivery to the families.
