HADRAMOUT, Nov. 26 (YPA) – UAE has pushed on Tuesday military reinforcements to the city of Mukalla, the provincial center of Hadramout, eastern Yemen, in a move to blow up the situation with the Saudi-affiliated tribal alliance.
The leadership of the UAE forces, based at Al Rayyan airport, which has been closed since 2016, brought dozens of armed elements on board large and medium buses accompanied by military vehicles to Mukalla.
Local sources explained that the reinforcements were coming from the city of Aden, indicating that the armed elements came from the provinces of Dhalea and Lahj, amid the silence of the Aden government and the coalition-formed Presidential Leadership Council on the escalation announced by the commander of the UAE-funded funded security support” factions, “Abu Ali al-Hadrami”, on Monday towards the head of the “Alliance of Hadramout Tribes, Amr bin habrish, who promised to assassinate him.
Bin habrish issued a comprehensive invitation to all sheikhs and dignitaries of the Hadramout tribes to attend an emergency meeting next Thursday in the Al-Aleeb area of Al Hadhaba, the district of Gil Bin Yamin to discuss the developments that threaten the security and stability of Hadramout.
