79 Yemeni citizens killed or wounded by Saudi army fire in 30 days

SAADA, Nov. 25 (YPA) – Security authorities in Saada Governorate, northern Yemen, recorded 76 violations committed by the Saudi army against the northern border areas of the governorate during the past month of Jumada I, 1447 AH, resulting in a high number of civilian casualties.

According to a statistical report issued by the security authorities, the violations included 24 cases of Saudi artillery shelling, 51 cases of direct firing by Saudi border guards targeting civilians, in addition to one case of Saudi aerial bombing.

These attacks resulted in 14 deaths and 65 injured individuals (most of them seriously wounded) within a single month.
Attacks by border guards led to 8 deaths and 44 wounded, while artillery shelling resulted in 6 deaths and 21 injured.

The governorate’s security authorities emphasized that these attacks constitute a blatant violation of international laws and norms and fall under the systematic crimes committed against the residents of Saada’s border areas.
