Report: 4 civilians killed in coalition air, ground attacks over 24 hours

SANAA, Aug.1 (YPA) – Four civilians were killed and three injured, including Al-Masirah channel correspondent, when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition waged airstrikes and ground attacks on residential areas of Yemen provinces over the past 24 hours, according to reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Wednesday.

  •  In Saada province:

Al-Masirah channel correspondent, Ali al-Sharqabi, was wounded while covering the damages caused by the shelling of the Saudi artillery and rocketry on Baqim district.

A home was targeted in Bani Saad of Dhahir district.

Missile and artillery shells fired toward residential areas of Razih and Monabeh districts.

Over 200 missile and artillery shells were targeted residential areas of Baqim district.

Meanwhile, an airstrike hit a home in Qad area of Razih district.

  • In Hodeidah province:

Four civilians were killed and two injured when coalition targeted the agricultural Extension Office in Duraihimi.

Three airstrikes were waged on Government Complex in Zaidiah district.

Four airstrikes hit north of Duraihimi district.

  • In Najran border province:

Four airstrikes hit Tala’a site and Ajasher desert.

  • In Marib province:

Two airstrikes were waged on Serwah district.

  • In Taiz province:

An airstrike hit Aboos area in Haifan district.

  • In Aden province:

An explosive device was targeted a car in Moa’ala district.
