WEST BANK, Nov. 16 (YPA) – A recent human rights report has disclosed that the Israeli occupation government employs Zionist settler violence as a direct tool to implement displacement and ethnic cleansing schemes against Palestinians in the West Bank, amid a dangerous and escalating rise in this violence that is spinning out of control.
According to data from the Israeli occupation military and the Shin Bet, the West Bank has witnessed 1,575 attacks carried out by settlers since the start of the war on Gaza. This includes approximately 704 attacks during the first ten months of the current year, in which firearms, knives, and flammable materials were used. Of these, 368 were classified as deliberate popular terrorism.
These assaults resulted in injuries to 174 Palestinians, marking a 12% increase compared to last year, indicating a dangerous and systematic escalation.
The occupation is specifically targeting dozens of Palestinian communities, especially in Area C, where residents rely on agriculture and sheep herding. These communities suffer from a severe deprivation of basic necessities and services such as construction permits, roads, water, and electricity.
According to a report by the B’Tselem center, the goal of these settlement outposts is to seize the largest possible area of land by emptying the regions of their original inhabitants.
