SAADA, Nov. 11 (YPA) – A civilian was wounded on Tuesday when Saudi army fired its artillery at residential areas of Saada province, north of Yemen.
A security source in Saada said the artillery hit areas of Al Thabit and Al Ra’in in the border districts of Qataber and Shada, causing damage to homes and farms.
These attacks are part of the ongoing escalation of attacks by the Saudi army against populated border areas in Saada, which are frequently subjected to artillery and missile bombardment.
This bombardment results in civilian casualties and damage to property, in clear violation of international humanitarian law, which protects civilians and civilian infrastructure.
