Yemen army launches offensive on Saudi-backed militias in Jizan

JIZAN, July 31 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Tuesday night launched an offensive on the positions of the Saudi-backed militias in Jizan province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The offensive targeted the militias’ position off Jabal Qais , killing and injuring dozens of them, the official added.

Meanwhile, the artillery forces bombed gatherings of Saudi soldiers and their mechanisms in al-Arar sites, causing human and material losses.
