Sanaa: Talks with Riyadh resumed in Muscat on agreed peace track under Omani auspices

MUSCAT, Oct. 29 (YPA) – Mohammad Abdulsalam, Head of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, revealed on Wednesday the resumption of talks in Muscat on the peace track agreed upon with the Saudi side under the patronage of the Sultanate of Oman, which is represented by the “UN-delivered roadmap.”

Abdulsalam explained that he discussed with the UN envoy the necessity of resuming work to implement the roadmap, especially the humanitarian entitlements, stressing Sanaa’s rejection of continued procrastination.

In another context, Abdulsalam confirmed that Sanaa drew the attention of the UN to the need not to detain any person working in organizations without justification.

However, he indicated that the delegation presented security information about the subversive role of the detained aid workers, accusing them of espionage activities under the guise of “humanitarian work.” He stressed that the relevant authorities are ready to present evidence and documents proving their involvement.
