Islamic Jihad Movement: We hold mediators and American administration responsible for occupation’s violation of the agreement
GAZA, Oct. 29 (YPA) – The Islamic Jihad Movement in occupied Palestine confirmed, on Wednesday, that what happened last night represents a clear violation by the Israeli occupation of the ceasefire agreement, through the massacres and brutal bombing that targeted various areas within the Gaza Strip, especially the tents of displaced people.
The movement’s media spokesman, Muhammad al-Hajj Musa, said that the continuation of massacres against civilians confirms that the occupation is continuing its systematic aggression against civilians and children in Gaza, in addition to continuing its policy of assassinations using flimsy and false pretexts to justify its crimes.
He pointed out that the occupation has not adhered to the terms of the agreement, neither humanely nor on the ground, and continues to commit clear daily violations.
The spokesman also stressed that the Palestinian resistance factions have fully adhered to the terms of the ceasefire agreement since its announcement and have not violated it in any way. He asserted that the occupation is the party obstructing the retrieval of its soldiers’ bodies by preventing the entry of equipment or technical assistance teams, in an attempt to mislead public opinion and blame the resistance.
Hajj Moussa added that the mediators bear the responsibility of taking a firm and serious stance regarding the occupation government’s repeated violations and ensuring the implementation of the agreement’s terms. He emphasized that the American administration also bears responsibility for the continuation of the occupation’s crimes and must compel it to implement the agreement instead of justifying its violations.
Hajj Moussa concluded his statement by stressing the necessity of continuing popular movements in support of Gaza and in rejection of the violations committed by the occupation, considering them an effective means of pressure to stop the aggression.
