DHALEA, Oct. 28 (YPA) – A citizen was tortured after being kidnapped in coalition-run secret prisons inside Al-Sadrain camp in the Maris area of Dhalea province, south of Yemen.
An human rights source familiar with the matter revealed that members of the coalition-funded 83rd Brigade” camp in Al-Sadrain kidnapped, Mukhtar Al-Mudraj, and tortured him in solitary confinement inside the camp until his mouth was broken.
The source explained that the 83rd Brigade” camp in Al-Sadrain of the Maris area, also housed squadrons of Al-Qaeda terrorists.
The torture was carried out by leaders and members of Al-Qaeda, including members of the so-called “Nasr Al-Barsh Brigade Operations,” Ahmed Al-Shalili, Nayef Al-Qafri, Nader Al-Khadim, and Abdulhadi Khaziba.
The source indicated that they have tortured the kidnapped individuals, adding that the Sadrain camp in Maris had been transformed into a detention center similar to that of ISIS, and that dozens of kidnapped citizens, including travelers, were being held inside the camp.
It demanded the immediate release of the abductees, an investigation into the leaders of the coalition’s Sadrain camp in Maris, and their punishment for the crimes being committed against civilians, particularly the crime against Mukhtar al-Madraj.
The source called on local and international human rights and humanitarian organizations to form human rights committees to inspect the secret prisons of the Sadrain camp, which, according to the source, houses members of the terrorist Al-Qaeda.
