QUNEITRA, Oct. 28 (YPA) – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported on Tuesday that Israeli occupation forces conducted several incursions in southern Syria’s Al-Quneitra province.
According to SOHR, one unit entered a military barracks belonging to the 90th Brigade’s anti-aircraft company in the village of Al-Kawm. The troops carried out searches before withdrawing toward the Peace Highway.
The report said the occupation forces also set up a temporary checkpoint on the road of Khan Arnaba, searching civilians, though no arrests were reported.
Earlier, the occupation forces comprising four tanks and several vehicles carrying soldiers moved from Al-Hamidiya base towards Ofaniya Village in northern Al-Quneitra countryside coinciding with the flight of drones in the area.
In a separate incursion, an Israeli patrol advanced on the outskirts of Al-Samdaniyah Al-Gharbiyah Town in Al-Quneitra countryside, moving from the Al-Burj point in the destroyed city of Al-Quneitra.
According to SOHR reports, the incursion involved three military vehicles and two tanks that entered nearby farmlands before retreating back to their positions inside the demilitarised zone.
