MANAMA, Oct. 16 (YPA) – The new Israeli ambassador to Manama, Shmuel Rival, announced, on Wednesday, that he had presented his credentials to the King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa.
Rival said in a post on the American company “X” platform: “I am honored to present my credentials to His Majesty King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, marking the official launch of my mission as Ambassador of the State of Israel.”
At the end of August, Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani received a copy of the credentials of the new ambassador, Shmuel Rival.
Rival is the second Israeli ambassador to Bahrain since the normalization of relations between the two sides in 2020.
