TAIZ, Oct. 15 (YPA) – An armed tribal rallies were staged on Wednesday in the districts of Taiz province to condemn the Islah Party militants’ execution of prisoner Essa Muqbil Awn Al-Afari.
During the protests, participants condemned this heinous crime and the militias’ violations, calling for a firm stance against the actions of the criminals.
They emphasized that the goal of the crime was to complicate the prisoner issue and obstruct international and local efforts to resolve the issue.
The protesters held the Islah Party militants and the Saudi regime legally and morally responsible, calling on the UN envoy and international and local organizations to condemn the crime and prosecute its perpetrators.
The protests were organized in Sala, Haifan, Al-Masrakh, and the western square in the districts of Mawiah and Al-Ta’iziyah, and the Mirab square in Maqbanah in Taiz.
