Sanaa Gov’t commemorates 62nd anniversary of October 14 Revolution, calls for confronting “new occupation”

SANAA, Oct.14 (YPA) – The Sanaa government commemorated the 62nd anniversary of the October 14 Revolution on Tuesday with a rhetorical and cultural ceremony.

During the ceremony, the Acting Head of the Government, Mohammed Muftah, asserted that the fate of the “new occupation” (referring to the Saudi-led coalition forces) will not be different from the fate of the old one, which lasted 130 years.

In turn, Deputy Head of the Shura Council, Dhaif Allah Rassam, also called on the people of the southern and eastern governorates to continue the struggle and armed combat to expel the invading forces from the south of the country.

Other speeches urged the people of “the occupied governorates” (referring to the areas under the coalition’s control) to unite and drive out “the new occupier.”
