Qassam Brigades target two Israeli Merkava tanks in Gaza city

GAZA, Oct. 12 (YPA) – Qassam Brigades, the Hamas military wing, declared on Sunday that it had targeted two Israeli Merkava tanks south and north of Gaza City.

The Brigades said in two separate statements: “After returning from the battle lines, our fighters confirmed that they had targeted a Zionist Merkava tank with a highly explosive landmine in the vicinity of the Martyrs of the Complex Mosque, southwest of the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City, on October 9, 2025.”

The fighters added that they had targeted another Merkava tank with a Yasin 105 missile in the Yarmouk area.
