Qatar: Comprehensive agreement reached between “Israel”, Hamas on ceasefire in Gaza

DOHA, Oct. 09 (YPA) – The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced Thursday morning the conclusion of a comprehensive agreement between the Israeli occupation entity and the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) on all clauses and mechanisms for implementing the first phase of a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.

Majed Al-Ansari, spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated in a post on the “X” platform that “the mediators announce tonight that an agreement has been reached on all clauses and mechanisms for implementing the first phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.”

He clarified that the agreement “leads to a cessation of the war, the release of Israeli captives and Palestinian prisoners, and the entry of humanitarian aid into the Strip.”

Al-Ansari noted that the “details of the agreement will be announced later,” without specifying a timeframe for the commencement of its field implementation.

This may pave the way to end the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip that has lasted for two full years.
