Pro-Palestinian protesters arrested in Boston after clashes with police

SANAA, Oct. 09 (YPA) – US authorities revealed that they arrested 13 pro-Palestinian protesters in Boston after a clash with police caused chaos and resulted in four officers being taken to hospitals in the area for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said all those arrested at Tuesday’s protest were local and ranged in age from 19 to 27.

They appeared before a judge on Thursday, most on charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and breach of peace.

Local news footage showed protesters and police pushing and shoving each other, even wrestling on the ground.

Video showed protesters shouting “Leave him alone!” as officers restrained a person.

The protest was one of many around the world that coincided with the second anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Flood, which sparked the ongoing war in Gaza.
