Palestinian Resistance Factions: “Ceasefire agreement is natural outcome of our people’s steadfastness”

GAZA, Oct. 09 (YPA) – Palestinian resistance factions on Thursday welcomed the agreement reached for a cessation of the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip.

They affirmed that their priorities over the two years of the “Zionist genocide” have been to reach an agreement for an immediate and comprehensive stop to the war, the lifting of the siege, the entry of aid, reconstruction, and a prisoner exchange deal.

These demands have been constant, and the factions dealt with them with full responsibility in order to end the suffering of Palestinian people.

The factions emphasized that the agreement, which the resistance leadership reached through the appreciated Egyptian, Qatari, and Turkish mediation and efforts, is a natural outcome of Palestinian people’s steadfastness and resistance and the high spirit of responsibility and flexibility shown by the Palestinian negotiating delegation during the talks and their smart and positive response to the American proposal.

The Palestinian resistance factions extended their highest regards of pride and honor to the heroic families in the Gaza Strip who, with their patience, have written a legendary saga of steadfastness unparalleled in history.

The factions stated, “We assure them that with your unity, solidarity, faith, and trust in your resistance, you are forging glory that history will immortalize, and you confirm that the will of the Palestinian people will not and never be defeated, no matter how severe the siege and aggression become.”

They added, “We offer our condolences for our pure martyrs, wish a speedy recovery for our injured, and ask Allah to grant our people a victory befitting their sacrifices, resilience, and patience.”
