Earthquake hits Red Sea

DHAMAR, Oct. 08 (YPA) – Seismic and volcano monitoring stations in Dhamar province recorded an earthquake in the Red Sea.

The seismic bulletin issued by the Seismic Monitoring Center stated that the earthquake occurred yesterday evening, Tuesday, with a magnitude of 4.6 on the Richter scale in the Red Sea.

It indicated that the earthquake was at a shallow depth of 10 km, without providing any further details.
