Civilian injured after Israeli incursions in Syria Quneitra

DAMASCUS, Oct. 08 (YPA) – A Syrian civilian was injured on Wednesday by Israeli occupation forces while collecting firewood in the Jabata al-Khashab Reserve in the northern Quneitra countryside of Syria .

This coincided with two separate ground incursions by Israeli patrols into the areas of al-Muallaqa, south of Quneitra, and the village of al-Samadaniyya al-Sharqiya, where they set up temporary checkpoints and searched passersby before withdrawing.

These actions constitute a continuation of the Israeli occupation’s violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement and international law in Syrian territory.
