Al-Qassam Brigades shell Israeli forces northwest of Gaza

GAZA, Oct. 07 (YPA) – Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced that its fighters shelled a concentration of Israeli occupation army troops and vehicles yesterday, Monday, northwest of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, using several mortar shells.

In a brief statement issued Tuesday, the Brigades said the shelling was part of the mujahideen’s efforts to counter the occupation forces’ attempts to penetrate the area, affirming that the strikes achieved direct hits among the targeted troops and vehicles.

This attack comes as the Israeli occupation army continues its intensive military operations in several areas of Gaza City, amidst fierce resistance from Palestinian factions who confirm their continued confrontation of the aggression by all available means until the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces.
