Qassam Brigades carries out raid on Israeli positions in Gaza

GAZA, Oct. 07 (YPA) – The Gaza Strip was witnessed a strong escalation on the ground this morning, as Hamas’s Qassam Brigades carried out a raid targeting an Israeli occupation’s military site and fortifications.

Reports indicated that the operation involved heavy gunfire and RPG anti-tank missiles.

The reports affirmed that the attack resulted in injuries among Israeli soldiers, necessitating an urgent medical alert, while Israeli military helicopters were seen to evacuate three wounded soldiers and transported them to hospitals. Two were in critical condition and were urgently transferred to Soroka Hospital, while one was transferred to Tel Hashomer Hospital.

This raid was part of a series of operations targeting Israeli military sites and fortifications, confirming the ongoing confrontation and the escalation of military operations carried out by Hamas in response to attacks by the occupation authorities.
