About 21 martyrs brought to Gaza hospitals in last 24 hours

GAZA, Oct. 06 (YPA) – About 21 martyrs were brought on Monday to hospitals in the last 24 hours, while 96 people were injured in the ongoing Israeli onslaught on Gaza Strip.

In a statement, the Gaza-based ministry of health said at least 67,160 Palestinians have been killed and 169,679 others injured in the genocidal war the Israeli occupation’s launching on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 2023.

“Many victims are still trapped under the rubble of the destroying buildings and on the roads as rescuers are unable to reach them,” it added.

The statement also noted that two Palestinians were killed and 19 others injured by Israeli army fire while trying to get food aid in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of Palestinians killed while seeking aid to 2,610 martyrs, with over 19,143 wounded since May 27.
